This
week was quite interesting or I must say exciting as we embraced technology.
Again we were faced with a challenge, this time it was the inability to project
on the whiteboard. We were then saved by Miss Taylor.
Information
wise we continued to collaborate as we communicated our understanding of the
different learning theories and learning on a whole.
The
21st Century skills that were displayed this week were amazing!
- Information, media, and technology skills
- Learning and innovation skills
- Life and career skills
The trainees and trainer were able to accomplish via power point presentations and blog creation.
As
a result, my thought for this week: Linking
Technology with learning and learning theories is of paramount importance in
the 21st Century Classroom. Whoopie!
This class was exciting indeed. It's amazing how you learn when given the chance to actively participate and pass that information on to someone else. Cheers to moving forward and learning more!!
ReplyDeleteI would like to add that in this area of technology it is vastly important that we as teachers be up to date so to help ourselves to help our students, and from the blog perspective its a good way of helping your students establishing a classroom blog with you the teacher being the administrator and the students sharing there grievances and issues with a specific topic or school problem. But so far very educational
ReplyDeleteYeah, that class was fun and informative. It was interesting to see how the skills we used were broken down into three categories. I didn't even think deeply on the skills that were being used while making the presentation. It was also pretty fun to see everyone's creativity while they presented.
ReplyDeleteI did enjoy viewing my classmates power point presentation this week.I was impressed to see so many persons willingly assisting those who had problems.
ReplyDeleteWeek 2 was fun since we really had the opportunity to explore another program and to show how creative we are and could be. Also helping our other classmates to each develop our understandings better. I really look forward to the continuation of this class. Love you guys. You have really made those 2 weeks worthwhile. ReplyDeleteFor the 2nd week of technology class, it was quite interesting that we linked the 21st century skills are connected thus becoming a wholesome person.
ReplyDeleteThis class was exciting.I learned a lot although i did not get a chance to actually use the projector or to present I really enjoyed the presenters work. Stay positive and be wise. keep ya head up.

DeleteThe second week's class was based on sharpening my powerpoint skills and learning various learning concepts! Looking forward for the various destinations in technology on my EDET journey!

ReplyDeleteI found the class was very informative and inspirational. Learning how to put a power point together really open up new insights in the tecnology aspects. Usng the three skillls to help with learning was informative. Moving forward will be even more exciting.
ReplyDeleteIn this lesson, I have learnt that the 21st century learning skills sometimes interact and collaborate with each other. Most of these skills are learning experiences which assist us within the classroom, society and everyday life.

Classes have been fun and informative.... especially week two.. I got a clearer view of learning theories and how they can be implemented. What excites me most about this course is that after successful completion I will be able to incorporate these theories and multiple intelligences in the classroom to make learning easier and fun.
ReplyDeleteTechnology class was a bit more informative, things are beginning to make more sense. Mrs. Marsh Roberts certainly has a lot of energy delivering her topics for us to understand. This is just the beginning :)

ReplyDeleteTechnology class thus far has been very educational.I sometimes get lost along the way but always manage to find my way back thanks to much help from classmates and tutor. I continue to look forward to my classes none the less.
